CHS Names Class of 2022 Top Spots
This week Canton High School announced the valedictorian and salutatorian for the graduating class of 2022.
The 2022 Valedictorian is Kenzi Nix. Nix is the 18 year old daughter of Mike and Tonya Nix. Her future plans are to go to SWOSU for pre-dentistry and become a dental hygienist.
“It was my goal to become Valedictorian, but because of Soloman I didn’t know if it would happen,” Nix, senior, said.
The 2022 Salutatorian is Solomon Vargas. Vargas is the 18 year old son of Karen Pinon and Solomon Vargas. Solomon’s future plans are to graduate college then hope for early retirement.
“It was not my goal to be salutatorian I wanted to be valedictorian, but Kenzi stole it,” Vargas, senior, said.
Karington is a sophomore reporter for The Claw. She took the class for the second year because the class is fun.
