Prom is slowly sneaking up on us with only two months to go. Usually when we already know we’re going to prom we plan months beforehand. It’s recommended that we should start looking for dresses in December or January. Finding the perfect dress is hard, and it usually takes a while to find.   

Vibrant Pink is expected to be an extremely popular color this prom season. I have seen so many sparkly, flowery, and silky pink prom dresses recently that seem to be tremendously popular. This vibrant shade of pink will definitely make a statement. 

Illuminating Yellow was one of the colors of the year in 2021, but in 2022 it is said to be the most popular color choice for prom dresses by far. Personally, when I went prom dress shopping, I didn’t see a lot of people gravitating towards yellow. From what I’ve seen, I think green will be more popular than yellow, but I’m not certain. It’s just a speculation.

The color orange has also been recently popular, and we will definitely see many more orange prom dresses this prom season as the color becomes more popular. I have particularly seen several orange mermaid prom dresses lately. 

Feathers on prom dresses are a trend I keep seeing everywhere in prom stores. Think back to the purple and orange dresses worn by Kendall and Kylie Jenner at the Met Gala in 2019. That is what this style reminds me of. These prom dresses in this sort of style with colorful feathers have become fashionable, and more companies like Jovani have been designing them.

I have seen royal blue as well as neutral colors. Lilac also seems to be a popular color for prom dresses this year. Definitely not as popular as pink, orange, or green but still popular. 

As far as style goes there is this one dress by Jovani. It’s style code 59762 sequin embellished v neck and it has been tremendously popular. I have seen many girls gravitate towards this specific dress that comes in an array of colors.

Out of all of these different styles, we will see in a couple of months what dresses were actually the most popular for prom season 2022.
