Spring break is a week and a half away and students are probably counting down the days till then. These are just some of the great and reasonable places to visit during spring break.  

  1. New Mexico

New Mexico is definitely a top tourist place with more than 35 million visitors per year. It is a great place for spring break with so many things to do there. Red River New Mexico specifically is primarily a great place to go skiing. It is also a great place to go hiking, too. People can travel to Red River Ski & Summer Area to go skiing, hiking and mountain biking. 

  1. Colorado 

Colorado is another popular place for skiing. There are so many cute little towns to go visit. Pikes Peak is a really cool place to see in Colorado. It is the highest summit of the southern front range of the Rocky Mountains. People can take the Broadmoor Manitou or the Pikes Peak Railway to get there. They open between 9:00 and 8:00 until 5:30 and depart every 40 minutes.Garden of the Gods is also a very popular natural landmark place to visit in Colorado. People from all over the world come to visit this landmark to see wildlife, go on trails and to see the massive red rocks that are coming out on the ground. People can also go horseback riding, hiking, and biking there.

  1. Branson, Missouri

Branson is extremely well known for all of its live entertainment. Although it is known that there are several things to do in Branson, There are also a lot of cute shops and boutiques to shop. Museums, ziplining, fishing, go-kart racing and water sports are just some activities to do there. The Titanic Museum is a popular attraction there that many people go see. Their National Tiger Sanctuary is a cool place to visit too. 

  1. Arkansas

If someone goes to visit Branson, they should stop by Eureka Springs in Arkansas before entering Missouri. It’s about 45 minutes before you hit Branson. It’s a really nice town like no other with one of a kind shops and neat boutiques. They have nice fine art galleries and so many festivals to go to. They also have historical hotels that have cool history where people can learn more about the town.

Fort Worth is a great place to go to for spring break. The Fort Worth zoo is a good place to stop by for the day. The Stockyards are also great place to go. People can take a train ride, go to the petting zoo, catch a show, or watch the cattle drive.  They also have a lot of good places to eat there. There are some great museums to see and the Fort Worth and Botanic Garden is another great place to visit.
