Top Five Best and Worst Movies Coming Out

Top+Five+Best+and+Worst+Movies+Coming+Out

With 2023 here some of us can’t wait for the movies coming out but some of us can’t help but worry about other movies.

Best

  1. Barbie– If you aren’t excited for this movie something is wrong with you. I don’t even know what it’s about and I am excited. I mean it’s a live action Barbie movie directed by Greta Gerwing.
  2. Oppenheimer– I love the cast for this movie like Cillian Murphy and Florence Pugh. With Christopher Nolan directing it it will be amazing. I feel like the history jocks are going to love this movie. It is about J. Robert Oppenheimer and how he created the atomic bomb.
  3. The Little Mermaid– I think that this movie will do well only because of the controversy it has caused. People were outraged when they found out that Halle Bailey was going to be Ariel because she is an African American. I think that it doesn’t matter because Ariel is a fish and she’s not even real.
  4. Wonka– A part of me feels like we don’t need a Willy Wonka movie but another part is like Timothée Chalamet. This story is a Wonka backstory and how he met the Oompa Loompas.
  5. Peter Pan & Wendy– I always worry about Disney movies that go straight to Disney+ but I do think that this will be good because really any live action Disney movie does good.

Worst

  1. Dune Part 2– The first movie was boring. It was just people walking around in the desert. As long as Zendaya gets more screen time and something actually happens it will be good but I don’t think it will.
  2. Shazam! Fury of the Gods– I don’t think that anyone watched the first movie except crusty junior high kids. This movie has the Greek gods as villains and my one hope is to do them justice please.
  3. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom– The first one was okay, but I don’t have high hopes. Also Amber Heard is a red flag.
  4. Teen Wolf: The Movie-  This movie doesn’t have the original actors in it as the show and no one can play Stiles like Dylan O’Brian.
  5. The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes– As much as I love the Hunger Games that phase has passed. The only people that are going to watch it are millenials that are stuck in their teen years and got a mockingbird pin tattooed on them.
