They are oblivious when faced with their bad relationship. Here are some ways to detect a toxic relationship, even if the signs are subtle.

The way someone communicates with another is one of the most important steps to keeping a stable relationship. When someone is talking, the partner needs to observe the way the person talks. Criticism or stonewalling are signs of a toxic relationship.

It’s perfectly okay to be jealous from time to time. Jealousy is a normal emotion, but being too jealous can be a sign of a toxic relationship. It might feel suffocating for most people because they have limited people to talk to anyway. This can completely demolish a relationship.

Constant stress is also a way to detect a toxic relationship. Continuous stress can eventually take a toll on mental health, making a partner in a relationship  feel like they have to walk on thorns around the other person. Constant stress can also cause tension in the relationship, making it hard to communicate with each other.

Not being supportive can really take a toll on a relationship. People in a relationship might start to feel discouraged, which can lead to someone giving up on the relationship. People usually need to feel like their partner has their back, even when things get rough. If their partner doesn’t have their back, then they might feel like they can’t trust them.

It is possible to fix a toxic relationship if the relationship has not escalated too far. Sitting down and having a genuine conversation about how each other feels could make the couple understand their side of the relationship. If that still doesn’t help, the relationship should probably end.
