On September 26, 2017, the 3rd and 4th grade Canton Tigers played against the Cherokee Chiefs at the Canton football field.

During the first quarter, the Chiefs were able to get their first touchdown and the two-point conversion. The second quarter was played hard by the Canton Tigers, as they fought not to let the Chiefs score again. The Chiefs scored their final touchdowns during the third quarter getting both their two-point conversions.

During halftime, the coaches decided to have their fifth quarter for the players who would not get much playing time.

The final score was Tigers 12 and Chiefs 32.
