Johnny Appleseed was born on September 26, 1774. He was known for introducing apples throughout the American Midwest.

Mrs. Unruh, Mrs. Martin, and the kindergarten class are celebrating Johnny Appleseed’s birthday throughout the week of September 25 – 29.

The kindergarteners cook and eat a different apple snack everyday. Throughout the week they learn the life cycle of an apple, and they make different apple crafts.

This is Mrs. Unruh’s ninth year of celebrating Johnny Appleseed’s birthday with her class.
