On Thursday, November 2, the Tigers played their last game of the season against Shattuck. This game was also senior night. The Tigers received the opening kickoff. The Tigers fought with all they had, but could not stop Shattuck from winning the game. This was a sentimental game for the two seniors on the team because this would be their last football game.

The score at the end of the game was Canton 0 and Shattuck 55. After the game when the coaches talked to the players, Coach Clayborn announced that he would be leaving after this school year was over, so he can be with his family.

“My favorite thing about this year’s football team was that everybody gave it their all and never gave up, even when we were losing,” Tony Campos, senior, said.
