Ever wonder how to clean your Chromebook? Maybe your screen has some fingerprints and your case is covered in stains. Chromebooks can be easily cleaned with common household items.

Make sure you have a sponge, dishwashing detergent, water, lint-free cloth, and cotton swabs. Next, you’re going to need to turn your laptop off and unplug it from the wall. For your main mixture, mix one part of the dishwashing detergent with five parts of water. After the mixture is mixed, soak your sponge in the mixture. Wring out your sponge until it’s dry. Wipe down your case gently. Use a swab or Q-tip to get the little nooks and crannies of your case. Last, wipe the case with the lint-free cloth.

To clean your Chromebook keyboard you can use glasses cleaning wipes. Do not use makeup wipes to clean your keyboard, because they have substances that will show up on your keyboard when it dries. To get off excess dirt you can use isopropyl alcohol and a cotton ball.

To clean the screen of your Chromebook, turn it off, and gently wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth.
