On Friday, November 24, people around America will be rushing to get first in line. Some people will shop at stores, while some may just shop online during the holiday.

Every year Black Friday takes place the Friday after Thanksgiving. Black Friday is the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season. Most stores will open early and already have a line of customers waiting to rush in for the low prices.

Some people go crazy during Black Friday, and many people steal stuff. Two years ago, two teachers went Black Friday shopping, and while they were sleeping they were robbed.

“We went Black Friday shopping and left the gifts in the car, and a thief broke out all of the windows and stole everything we had bought,” Mrs. Heath, said.

Some people who want to avoid the hectic crowds and rushes will wait for Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday is the Monday after Thanksgiving. During Cyber Monday the prices on online stories will drop.

“I like the excitement of the race to the low prices, and staying up all night at Walmart,” Shy Cauble, sophomore, said

“I’m not about to get killed trying to get to low prices,” Billie Cajero, sophomore, said.
