Not the Sharpest Around

Weston Waldrep, a freshman at Canton High School, has been collecting knives since the age of ten. His first knife was a pocket knife. He took an interest in collecting knives to skin deer.

“I received my first seven knives from Tom Evans at the age of 10 years old,” Waldrep said.

Waldrep has over twenty-five knives in his collection and believes that all his knives are worth about $200. Waldrep has also cut himself with one of his knives.

“I was trying to cut a bottle in half, and cut myself on my leg.”

His prized knife is from Brett Dowell. It was given to him for killing his first buck with a bow, and Brett did it all for free. Waldrep has also accidentally misplaced all of his knives when he was younger. He believes that he will stop collecting knives in a few months because he keeps losing them.
