Procrastinating Procrastinators

Every student has been guilty of wanting to procrastinate about doing his/her homework, or just not do it at all. Whether it’s math, science, or history there is always an excuse to put it off, whether it’s being too tired, it’s too hard, or thinking they can get it done before class.

Everyone has done it at least once. Some go through with their plan and finish before facing the wrath of their teachers. Others haven’t been so lucky, having to face the embarrassment in front of their classmates.

“I am definitely a procrastinator, but I fight through the procrastinating and get what I need done,” Alicia Luna, freshman, said.

Some people would never commit that sin and risk getting in trouble or getting a bad grade. For others, it is a regular occurrence to procrastinate until the last minute. Some say that they work better under the pressure.

“One time I was procrastinating going to pick up my little sister for about three hours, and I got grounded,” Kiara Whiteman, sophomore, said.

Is it really worth the extra thirty minutes of XBox, if it means a bad grade and getting in trouble?
