The Canton after school program is adding a new class to the schedule.

The new class will be a beginners robotics class. Coach Smith will be teaching this class.

The class will meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This program will last from 3:45 to 4:30. The students who participate in the class will make robots.

They will be using Techtrics Prime Robotic kits. They are going to build six different robots that will be able to walk, drive, and pick things up.

“We are hoping to get kids interested in robotics and engineering,” Coach Smith, Tech Ed teacher, said.
