On Monday, January 8th the Canton Junior High girls basketball team traveled to Seiling to play in the Dewey County Tournament. The Junior High Lady Tigers competed against Vici first. They played hard the whole game but came up short by one point.

The girls played their second game against Leedey. Hopelin Hood scored 12 points in the first quarter. The Lady Tigers won this game and went on to play Cheyenne for 3rd place in the tournament.

The girls played Cheyenne for the consolation prize. The lady tigers lost to Cheyenne not getting the consolation prize.
