Lady Tigers Lose To Canute By Four Points

On February 23rd, the Canton Lady Tigers played at the Enid Event Center. The Lady Tigers played the Canute Trojanettes which were ranked 5th.

At the beginning of the game, the Trojanettes won the jump. The Lady Tigers started off in defense. The Trojanettes scored the first two points.

In the second quarter, the Lady Tigers started off with the ball. The Lady Tigers were in the lead by a few points. The Lady Tigers on defense were able to prevail over the Trojanettes’ offense, but the Trojanettes were able to slip past the Lady Tigers defense.

After half-time, the Lady Tigers were needing to catch up to the Trojanettes. The Lady Tigers held the ball for as long as they could on offense. The Lady Tigers also gave it their all on defense.

During the final quarter, the Lady Tigers caught up to the Trojanettes but were unable to stop them on defense giving the Trojanettes the winning points. The Lady Tigers had one player, Gabby Martin, foul out.

The final score of the game was Canton Lady Tigers 38 and the Canute Trojanettes 42. Despite this loss, the Lady Tigers played their best till the end.
