Most teachers and students remember Sandy Price as a nice, funny, amazing substitute and the best janitor a school could ask for. The elementary has placed a bench in the school in her memory.

“We wanted something to put on the playground, because she always had fundraisers for the playground to get better equipment,” Mrs. Mcnabb, librarian, said. The bench was built at Oklahoma Correctional Institute.

Over the years, Mrs. Price had held several fundraisers specifically for playground improvements. The administration and staff felt that using a portion of these funds for a playground bench would be an appropriate way to memorialize her. The bench will eventually be going outside on the playground, but  right now it is in the building so that all the parents can see it.
