Moving from the elementary to the high school building or transferring high schools can be stressful. According to students, here are the top ten things to look forward to at Canton High School.

  • Mr. and Mrs. Barney’s snack cart.

If a student is ever hungry or doesn’t want lunch they know that they can go to the snack cart at lunch.

  • Orange Peel

A good way to earn class points is at Orange Peel. At Orange Peel seventh grade through seniors compete in games and at chalk art to gain class points.

  • Pep Assemblies

At Canton High School pep-assemblies there are games, speeches, and class yells.

  • Win-Win Week

Win-Win Week is a week spent with classes raising money for breast cancer awareness by doing fundraisers.

  • Football Homecoming

Every year during football homecoming there is a different theme with dress-up days.

  • Prom

Whether it is a sophomore’s first year as a server or a senior’s last year, students always seem to enjoy themselves.

  • Basketball Homecoming

Basketball homecoming has a theme and has dress-up days. Classes make banners that fit the theme. (Until this year, and there is a BIG surprise coming…)

  • Senior Night

Senior night is used to recognize the senior athletes.

  • Class Trips

After a year of working to get the most class points, a trip is awarded to the winning class.

  • Extra Curricular Trips

Being in different clubs and groups means going on more field trips whether it is STUCO, FCCLA, or FFA.
