Canton High School will be having football homecoming Thursday, September 13. The coronation will take place at 6:30 P.M.

The queen candidates are Jenny Delgado, Roxy Linder, and Haylee Nusz. The king candidates are Deonte Murray, Charles Moldrup, and Morgan Murray. The princesses are Courtney Thompson, Alicia Luna, and Kylie Nix.

Jenny Delgado is the daughter of Maria and Ramon Delgado. Delgado has participated in basketball for four years, cross country for three years, yearbook for two years, History Day for four years, and art club for two years. Her future plans are to attend college and study health and sports science to become a physical therapist.

Roxy Linder is the daughter of Clara and Bobby Denton. Linder has participated in cross country for three years, basketball for four years, track for four years, STUCO for three years, yearbook for three years, FCA for one year, NHS for three years, and History Day for two years.

Her future plans are to graduate from high school then go to college and med school.

Haylee Nusz is the daughter of Brook and David Nusz. Nusz has participated in FCCLA for one year, FCA for one year, FFA for one year, cross country for one year, STUCO for two years, NHS for two years, basketball for four years, and track for four years. Her plans for the future are to graduate high school and attend UCO, to earn her criminology degree.

Deonte Murray is the son of Heather Murray and is a nephew to Terry and Suzanne McVicker. Murray has participated in cross country or one year, track for four years, football for three years, basketball for four years, FCA for three years, STUCO for two years, FFA for three years, FCCLA for one year, and NHS for two years. His plan for the future is to attend college with hopes of a basketball scholarship.

Morgan Murray is the son of Robert Murray, Dawn Farris, and Shana Dighton. Murray has participated in football for three years, weightlifting for three years, and track and field for two years. His plans for the future are to join the Oklahoma National Guard, and go to college at Rogers University with the Gold Program.

Charles Moldrup is the son of Ramona and Doug Brassfield, and Shannon Moldrup. Moldrup has participated in football for four years and weightlifting for four years. His plans for the future are to go to college at OSU for agricultural business.

Courtney Thompson is the daughter of Bryan Thompson. Thompson has participated in STUCO for two years, cheer for two years, FFA for three years, FCCLA for two years, and FCA for three years.

Alicia Luna is the daughter of Joni and Polo Luna. Luna has participated in art club for four years, yearbook for two years, newspaper for one year, STUCO for two years, and FCCLA for two years.

Kylie Nix is the daughter of Tonya and Mike Nix. Nix has participated in art club for two years, newspaper for one year, History Day for four years, and ag for two years.

Homecoming king and queen will be announced at 6:30 P.M.
