On October 9th, the Canton Tigers 3rd and 4th grade football team played their fifth game against the Timberlake Tigers. At the beginning of the game, the Tigers received the return. The Tigers offense pushed through the Timberlake Tigers’ defense, scoring their first touchdown of the game. However, the Tigers were unable to get the following one-point conversion.

In the second quarter, the Tigers started off on defense holding back the Timberlakes Tigers from making a run or a pass. On offense, the Tigers tried to push through Timberlake’s defense, but to no avail.

After half-time, the Tigers started off on defense. After the first minute of the quarter, the Timberlake Tigers were able to make a run and get their first touchdown. However, the Tigers were able to hold them back from getting the following one-point conversion.

In the final quarter, the Tigers started off on offense. The Tigers, however, were not able to push through Timberlake’s defense. On defense, the Tigers held back Timberlake but were beat on a run by Timberlake. The Tigers, however, were able to stop Timberlake from getting the following one-point conversion.

The final score of the game was Canton Tigers 6 and the Timberlake Tigers 12.
