What+The+Night+Knows

What The Night Knows is written by Dean Koontz and is a #1 New York Times Best Seller. Like most of Dean Koontz’s books, What The Night Knows is a thriller. In What The Night Knows, John Calvino is the main character. It starts when he is just a fourteen year old boy, and his family was murdered. He thought it ended after he killed the murderer, Alton Turner Blackwood.

In the novel, twenty years have passed,  and John is now a detective with a wife and three kids. The murders have began to happen again the same way they happened before, but Alton Turner Blackwood is dead. John fears that his family is on the list to be murdered.

The point of view is changes throughout the book, which gives the reader a broader idea of what is happening in the book. The book keeps the reader on the edge of his/her seat, and is a great read for anyone who likes thrillers or supernatural.
