On November 16, the Canton High School boys basketball team started off their season with a scrimmage against Oklahoma Bible Academy (OBA). At the start of the scrimmage, the Tigers started on defense, playing defense throughout the quarter. In the second game, the Tigers started on defense. The Tigers, however, were able to get the ball and make a few layups and jump-shots.

In the third game, the Tigers’ junior varsity started on defense. The Tigers were unable to hold off the Trojans, but were able to score a few jump shots on offense. In the fourth game, the Tigers varsity team started on offense, running the ball down the court and running their play until there was an opening. After a few varsity games, the coaches agreed to another junior varsity game. The Tigers started on defense holding off the Trojans and stealing the ball. On offense, the Tigers ran their offensive play trying to get the ball to the post.

At the end of the game, both teams had hot dogs and other snacks. The Tigers’ first home game is on November 20, at 6:30 p.m.
