On November 27, the Canton Lady Tigers played their second game of the season against the Watonga Eagles. At the beginning of the game, the Watonga Eagles won the jump and turned it over to Canton. Haylee Nusz scored the first 3 points of the game. Watonga was in the lead in the first quarter 6 to 3.

In the second quarter, the Eagles started the offense. At half time the score was Canton 12 and Watonga 14.

The start of the final quarter saw Watonga on offense. With 3 minutes left in the fourth quarter, Lady Tiger 10, Arianna Green, fouled out. The teams played in overtime after ending the fourth quarter with both Canton 26 and Watonga 26.

In overtime Watonga got the jump. On defense, the Lady Tigers started fouling the Eagles. The score went back and forth throughout overtime.

The final score was Lady Tigers 32 and Watonga Eagles 35. The Lady Tigers’ next game is on Friday, November 30, at Ringwood.
