On December 3, the first day of the Gayle Hajny Invitational Canton Tournament, the Canton Lady Tigers played the Arnett Wildcats. At the beginning of the game, Jenny Delgado won the ball on the jump. Roxey Linder was the first to score the Lady Tigers points with a three pointer. The score at the end of the first quarter was Canton 8 and Arnett 7.

In the second quarter, The Arnett Wildcats started on offense. The Lady Tigers kept the Wildcats from scoring for the first two minutes of the quarter. The score was Canton 16 and Arnett 13 at the half.

After half-time, the Lady Tigers started off on defense. The Lady Tigers got the ball back, and Hopelin Hood scored the first three points of the second half. The score at the end of the third quarter was Canton 29 and Arnett 23.

In the final quarter, the Lady Tigers started off on offense, passing the ball around to keep it away from the traps. Both teams got into foul trouble towards the end of the quarter.

The final score was Canton 46 and Arnett 35. Haylee Nusz was the top scorer with 17 points on the board.
