After the Saturday basketball game, the high school cheerleaders had a lock-in as their Christmas party. To start off the night, they began to practice a dance they learned from the Thunder Girls so they can perform it at the boys game on Tuesday, December 4th.

The cheerleaders then went into the cafeteria and played the saran wrap game. This game is where someone gets saran wrap and wrap things in it. The ball then gets wrapped around counterclockwise while the one with the ball is wearing cooking mitts, or in this case ziplock bags. The person to the left rolls two dice and when they land on a double, they have to drop the ball and grab the dice. The person with the ball unrolls as fast as they can, trying to get prizes. Everyone won something but Kylie Nix.

Afterward they went into Mrs. Heath’s room to play Family Feud. The two teams were separated by birth month, team 2 January-June and team 1 July-December. The game consisted of many questions and one question that Steve Harvey (aka. Mrs. Thompson) asked, was, “Name something a husband might do when his pregnant wife yells ‘IT’S TIME!’.”

Many good answers were given by team 2 but that was not enough for the “Shark” family to win.

The cheerleaders stayed up late and played many more games. These games helped the cheerleaders bond and bring them together as one.

“The pizza was amazing, shout out to Courtney. I would like to thank Jennifer and Tina (Braxton) for teaching me how to dance. It was really fun, besides a box getting stuck to my head,” Kenidi Humbargar, sophomore, said.
