Tigers Defeated by Wildcats

The Canton Tigers traveled to Seiling to play the Wildcats on December 15. The Tigers won the jump and scored down low. The Tigers stopped the Wildcats on defense, taking the ball back down the court to score a three.

In the second quarter, the Tigers maintained the lead by scoring in the paint and on the outside. At the end of the second quarter, the Tigers started to widen the gap, stopping the Wildcats on defense and scoring on offense. At the end of the half, the score was Canton Tigers 29 and Seiling Wildcats 21.

After half-time, the Tigers started on defense and were unable to stop the Wildcats from scoring. The Tigers were unable to score at the beginning of the third quarter, but were able to keep the lead. Josh Edwards got a steal and made a full-court pass to Claysen Scott for a layup. At the end of the quarter the Wildcats started to catch up.

In the fourth quarter, the Tigers could not keep the lead and ended up losing the game by seven. Claysen Scott received a technical foul late in the fourth quarter.

The score of the game was Canton Tigers 50 and Seiling Wildcats 57. The Tigers’ next game will be on December 18,at Canton, at 6:00.
