1. Dumbo (March 29)

This Dumbo is inspired by the original, but it is live-action instead of it being animated. This movie is about an owner of a struggling circus who enlisted the help of a man and his two children, so they can take care of a newborn elephant that can fly.

2. Penguins (April 19)

This movie is about a penguin named Steve who joins millions of his fellow male penguins on a mission to build a nest, find a partner, and begin a family.

3. Aladdin (May 24)

This Aladdin is a remake of the original. It is a live-action musical romantic fantasy adventure film. In this movie, the genie (Will Smith) accompanies Aladdin (Mena Massou) in a great quest. While this is happening, Aladdin falls in love with Jasmine (Naomi Scott).

4. Toy Story 4 (June 21)

In this movie, a new toy that is called “Forky” joins Woody his friends, to show how big the world can be for toys. They begin a road trip with new friends and even reunited with old ones along the way.

5. The Lion King (July 19)

This is a live-action remake of the original 1994 movie. One day, Simba was born, and as Simba began to grow up, and his father, Mufasa, was his idol. Scar, Mufasa’s brother, becomes angered because he was the heir of the throne, but since Mufasa had Simba, there was no way he would be the king. The plans Scar made forced Simba to leave. Simba goes through this journey learning to grow up and take back what is his.

6. Artemis Fowl (August 9)

This film is based on the 2001 novel by Eoin Colfer. This movie is about Artemis Fowl, a 12-year-old boy who is a genius but is a descendant of criminal masterminds. He ends up in a battle against underground fairies, who may have caused his father to disappear.

7. Frozen 2 (November 22)

This is the second movie of the Frozen movie. Elsa, Anna, Kristof, and Olaf begin a journey through the forest to learn about the truths behind an ancient mystery of Arendelle.

8. Star Wars: Episode IX (December 20)

This movie is the final installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy and the final installment of the Star Wars Skywalker saga. This takes place one year past The Last Jedi.
