Tigers Take Third In Medford Tournament

On January 12, the Canton Tigers played their third game against the Medford Cardinals in the Medford Tournament. At the beginning of the game, the Tigers started off with the ball, winning the jump. On offense, the Tigers made a three pointer, for the first points of the game. On defense, the Tigers were able to stop the Cardinals from scoring.

In the second quarter, the Tigers started on defense. On defense, the Tigers were unable to stop the Cardinals from scoring. On offense, the Tigers were able to drive through the Cardinals’ defense.   

After half-time, the Tigers started on offense. On offense, the Tigers ran their man-to-man play stalling the time. After a few runs of their play, the Tigers looked to drive to the basket. On defense, the Tigers stopped the Cardinals from scoring.

In the final quarter, the Tigers started on defense. On defense, the Tigers stopped the Cardinals from scoring. However, after a few failed drives, the Cardinals made a three-point shot. On offense, the Tigers stalled the game, preventing the Cardinals from getting the ball.

The final score of the game was Canton Tigers 62 and the Medford Cardinals 29.
