If a school is going to choose their mascot to be the “Yellow Jackets,” then why isn’t at least one of their school colors yellow? A school’s colors shouldn’t be orange or blue if they are the YELLOW Jackets. If they didn’t want to use the color yellow in their school colors, then they should have chosen a different mascot for their school. Perhaps they should choose a mascot that doesn’t have a set color scheme. There is nothing wrong with using yellow for school colors. Yellow is actually a very underused color. Schools can use other colors with yellow.
