It is the third semester of school and grades are getting harder to keep up. Tournaments, weightlifting, and track meets are coming up, along with pressures from school, friends, and family. It is hard to not get stressed. Here are some easy ways to keep the stress level of this time of year to a minimum.

1. Color/Paint/Draw

Find the nearest pen or pencil and draw. For $1-4 at Dollar General stressed out artists- to-be can get some paints. Use the benefits of art to express creativity and calm down.

2. Watch a Movie

Watching a movie can reduce stress because it gives a chance to get away from cleaning and homework and school.

3. Take a Nap

Sleeping is a great way to get rid of stress. Stress can often be caused by not getting enough sleep, so a good way to not get stressed is to get enough sleep.

4. Make Cookies

Making cookies is fun and enjoyable to do anytime stress rolls in. Eating the cookies is an even bigger way to get rid of stress.

5. Listen to Music

Just put on a favorite playlist and sit back and close your eyes and listen. It takes very minimal effort and gives you a chance to take a break.
