The Canton Lady Tigers traveled to Union City to play their first game of regionals. At the beginning of the game, the Union Lady Tigers won the jump ball. Roxey Linder scored the first three points of the game. Haylee Nusz shot a three after the Lady Tigers passed the ball around the perimeter. Hopelin Hood made a wide-open three after the Lady Tiger played defense the Union City Tigers. The score at the end of the first quarter was Canton 12 and Union City 11.

In the second quarter, the Canton Tigers started off on offense. Arianna Green shot a three and hit the rim and Hood got her rebound. Linder shot a wide-open three after the Canton Tigers moved the ball around making the Union City defense work. Green made a three after the Canton Tigers started passing the ball around. Nusz fouled and gave the Union City Tigers a chance to shoot free throws. The score at the end of the second quarter was Canton 19 and Union City 20.

In the third quarter, Union City started off on offense. Hood shot a three after the Canton Lady Tigers moved the ball around faster making Union City girls work on defense. Green made a three-pointer in the middle of the third quarter. Union City Lady Tigers started fouling the Canton Tigers. Jenny Delgado went up for a layup and got fouled and made both of her free throws. The score at the end of the third quarter was Canton 34 and Union City 24.

In the final quarter, Union City Lady Tigers started off on offense. Linder got fouled and missed both of her free throws. Hanna Noble fouled and the Union City Lady Tiger made one out of two free throws. Linder drove to the basket and made her layup. Green made a three-pointer after the Lady Canton Tigers made the Union City Tigers play hard on defense. Nusz got fouled while shooting a floater and made both of her free throws. The score at the end of the game was Canton 52 and Union City 28.
Roxey Linder was the leading scorer with 22 points.
