The Lady Tigers traveled to Union City to play the championship game of regionals. At the beginning of the first quarter, The Waukomis Lady Chiefs won the jump. Haylee Nusz made a three at the beginning of the first quarter. Roxey Linder drove to the basket and made a layup. Arianna Green got Nusz’s rebound and was fouled and made one out of two of her free throws. Green was first to foul and the Waukomis player made one out of two of her free throws. The score at the end of the first quarter was Canton 8 and Waukomis 17.

In the second quarter, Waukomis started off on offense. Nusz scored a wide-open three after the Lady Tigers moved to ball around. Hopelin Hood drove into the lane and scored a wide-open layup. After the ball was passed around the perimeter Nusz scored a three. The score at the end of the second quarter was Canton 16 and Waukomis 30.

In the third quarter, the Lady Tigers started off on offense. Waukomis Lady Chiefs was the first to score at the beginning of the third quarter. Nusz air-balled two three-pointers and also missed the third one.

Nusz shot another three and got fouled and missed all three of her free throws. Jenny Delgado shot the ball and made it for a buzzer shot. The score at the end of the third quarter was Canton 22 and Waukomis 50.

In the final quarter, The Lady Tigers started off of on defense. The Waukomis Lady Chiefs scored first at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Green missed a three after the Lady Tigers moved the ball around. Nusz made a three after the Tigers passed the ball around. Linder scored a wide-open three as soon as the Lady Tigers got the ball back. Hanna Sullins made a wide-open three after Coach Baldwin subbed five new girls in the game. After the ball was passed around, Payton Lee made a wide open three. Delgado fouled out towards the end of the fourth quarter. The final score was Canton 40 and Waukomis 63.
