Canton Tigers Fall To The Drummond Bulldogs

On February 15, the Canton Tigers played the Drummond Bulldogs in the regionals consolation tournament. At the beginning of the game, the Tigers won the jump. On offense, the Tigers looked to draw fouls from the Bulldogs’ posts. On defense, the Tigers managed to stop the Bulldogs and steal the ball.

In the second quarter, the Tigers started on offense. On offense, the Tigers drove through the Bulldogs’ defense trying to draw fouls. On defense, the Tigers stopped the Bulldogs post, however, were unable to stop the Bulldogs from shooting three-pointers. The score after the first-half was Drummond 19 and Canton 21.

After the second half, the Tigers started on defense. On defense, the Tigers stopped the Bulldogs, however, they were unable to win the rebound giving the Bulldogs the first points in the second half. On offense, the Tigers started shooting three-pointers, however, were unable to make their shots.

In the final quarter, the Tigers started on offense. On offense, the Tiger’s shot three-pointers and drew fouls when driving into the Bulldogs defense. On defense, the Tigers were unable to stop the Bulldogs from scoring. Near the end of the game, Tigers Jared Cox and Nate Bates fouled out.

The final score of the game was Canton Tigers 48 and the Drummond Bulldogs 58.
