Canton Tigers Fall Short To Arapaho-Butler

On February 14, the Canton Tigers traveled to Union City to play the Arapaho-Butler Indians for Regionals. At the beginning of the game, the Tigers started on offense, winning the jump. On offense, the Tigers ran their offensive play, making the first points from a jump shot. On defense, the Tigers stopped the Indians from scoring and managed to steal the ball and make a fast break.

In the second quarter, the Tigers started on defense. On defense, the Tigers managed to stop the Indians’ post, however, they were unable to stop the Indians from shooting three-pointers. On offense, the Tigers started driving through the Indians’ defense but were unable to make jump shots. The score after the first-half was Canton 21 and Arapaho-Butler 23.

After half-time, the Tigers started on offense. On offense, the Tigers moved the ball, looking to score, however, the Indians stole the ball and made a fast break. On defense, the Tigers stopped the Indians from scoring but were unable to stop their post.

In the final quarter, the Tigers started on offense. On offense, the Tigers moved the ball and made a jump shot. On defense, the Tigers managed to stop the Indians, however, they were unable to win the rebound.

The final score of the game was Canton Tigers 36 and the Arapaho-Butler Indians 38.
