Canton High School has a woodworking class for students after school as part of its after-school program. Within the 3rd week of woodworking classes, participants have already built 2 benches and one table.

The woodworking class is every Tuesday and Thursday for grades 7th-12th. After they get finished building all the benches, they are going to paint them orange and black.

“Well, I think woodworking class is really fun it is a hands-on experience that I think everyone should try at least once,” Vance Ross, seventh grade, said.

The woodworking classes are taught by Principal McPhail.
