On April 12, Tiger Media students traveled to Oklahoma City to tour the Daily Oklahoman and News 9. The students were greeted by Bailey Huntman. After the students were greeted, they toured around the Oklahoman/News 9 facility. Students were given the chance to sit around the news desk and have their own broadcast while reading from the teleprompter.

“It was cool to go back and see how they did the recording process”  Caden Kohen, sophomore, said

“I thought it was really cool to talk to actual journalists and see how their everyday life goes.” Alyssa Rutz, freshman, said.

For lunch, the students walked downtown to eat either Fuzzy’s or Sonic. After having a good lunch, the students traveled to Dodge City Paintball in Piedmont, Oklahoma. There were two teams, the two captains were Mr. Mesis and Cody Conrady. Cody’s team won three out of four games.

“Life is easier (when you cheat)” Cody Conrady, paintball cheater, said.

“Paintballing wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be.” Kenzi Nix, freshman, said.
