The Canton high school track teams traveled to Cherokee to compete in the regionals track meet Saturday 27th.

Taylor Dowell placed 4th in high jump. Arianna Green placed 8th in long jump. Jenny Delgado placed 11th in long jump. Sam Mceachern placed 12th in shot put. Marci Rhodes placed 15th in shot put. Hanna Sullins placed 8th in dicus. Sam Mceachern placed 15th in discus. Jenny Delgado placed 5th in the 100-meter hurdles.

The only athletes to make it to state were Weston Waldrep, Josh Edwards, Deonte Murray, and Claysen Scott placed 1st in the 4×200 with a time of 1:38.22.  

State will be May 3rd and 4th.
