Tigers Win Homecoming Game

On Thursday, September 5, the Tigers played their homecoming game. After coronation, Webb Aviation flew in the game ball with a helicopter. 

The Tigers received the opening kickoff. After a short drive down the field, the Tigers scored. Soon after the Tigers kicked off to Geary, Geary was shut down on their drive and they punted the ball to the Tigers. The Tigers scored on this drive. After kicking the ball off to Geary, they managed to get the ball in the end zone. 

The Tigers started off the second quarter with a scoring drive. Geary was unable to make a touchdown during their drive. The Tigers were able to score two more times during the second quarter. Geary was only able to make one. 

The Tigers did not score in the third quarter, but the Tiger’s defence was able to hold Geary from scoring. 

The Tigers did not score in the fourth quarter. Geary punched the ball into the end zone one last time at the beginning of the fourth quarter. 

At the end of the game both teams gathered in the middle of the field to play. The score at the end of the game was Canton 36 and Geary 22.
