It Chapter 2 takes place 27 years after the first movie and is set in the year 2019. The Losers Club finds themselves going back to their old town Derry when their friend Mike, who still lives there, finds out that Pennywise is back once again.

The Losers have to come back together again to figure out how they can once and for all defeat that evil dancing clown.

There’s a lot to like about this movie and there is some stuff that I personally did not like. One of the things I do not like is the film’s length.

The movie is two hours and 49 minutes long. I felt like this was a little too long and there were too many unnecessary scenes that made the movie boring at times .

The movie bounces around a lot between past and present. The writer and director try their best to set up who these people are now as adults, but they really want to get them to Derry and so it feels like the pacing is fast at first. Once they are in Derry, the pacing slows down.

What I liked about this movie was the cast. Everyone is really good in the movie, and I started to care about the characters because they gave good performances.

It Chapter 2 is a good movie. It is not as great as the first one, but it is still enjoyable and Bill Hader’s performance really makes the movie a whole lot better.
