Canton FFA Shows At The Tulsa State Fair

This last week Canton FFA members showed heifers, steers, and pigs at the Tulsa State Fair. 

In the heifer show, Weston Waldrep had 1st and 2nd place Charolais heifers. Josh Edwards had 4th and 6th place Charolais composite. Jake Sinclair had 1st place and reserve champion gelbvieh, and 4th place maintainer. Claire Elder had 3rd place red angus. Claysen Scott had 5th place chi. Amanda Schoonmaker had 1st place, and reserve division maintainer. Blair Dowell had 6th place commercial. Jarrett Sinclair had 6th place commercial. Levi Shaw had 6th place commercial. Taylor Dowell had 6th place commercial. Maggie Elder had  7th place commercial. Wyatt Elder had 7th place commercial. 

In the steer show, Courtney Thompson had 5th place charolais prospect. Hudsen Scott had 3rd place cross prospect. Wyatt Elder showed both steers and chickens and had 5th place cross prospect, as well as bronze medallion boilers.  

In the pig show, Josh Edwards showed an 8th place cross gilt, and Amanda Schoonmaker showed york and cross barrows.

In the sheep show, Briely Scott had 2nd and 6th place southdown ewe. Emma Hoffman had 8th place hamp ewe.
