STUCO Provides Hygiene Shelf

STUCO set up a hygiene shelf in the pink room for students who are struggling to buy their own hygiene products.

Deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and laundry detergent are on the shelf. Students can go to the shelf and simply take what they need.

“In the past, STUCO has done service projects for a domestic crisis center and the VFW hospital. This year we wanted one of our service projects to be something that would benefit our students locally,” Meridith Barney, STUCO sponsor, said.

STUCO members can bring 5 hygiene items for 1 STUCO point.

“I think it’s very good and it helps people that are less fortunate and can’t buy hygiene products,” Devon Reilly, 8th grader, said.
