The Canton Lady Tigers 2019 basketball team consists of 11 players. Coach Baldwin is the girls head coach, and Coach Rich is the assistant. Last season the Lady Tigers won a total of 19 games and lost 8, finishing the season against Waukomis in the last round of regionals. This year’s team will start their season at Okeene on December 3rd.

The Lady Tigers have one senior this year, Samantha McEachern. The juniors this year are Payton Lee, Arianna Green, Taylor Dowell, and Laney Russell. The sophomores this year are Hopelin Hood, Maddie Rauh, and Marci Rhodes. Joining the Lady Tigers this year are freshmen Paige Robinson, Amanda Schoonmaker, Ariel Green, Kiana Whiteman, and Sienna Bates.

The two returning starters this year are Hopelin Hood, number 14, and Arianna Green, number 10. Hopelin is a point guard for the Lady Tigers, and Arianna has played both post and guard spots in the past.

At the scrimmages, the Lady Tigers have played this year, the starting line up was Paige Robinson, Hopelin Hood, Arianna Green, Taylor Dowell, and Laney Russell.
