Eighth Grade Service Project
This year, for their service project, the eighth grade will be helping the W.O.O.F Pet Rescue, a no-kill shelter in Woodward, Ok.
“The kids brought it up- and voted in it and that’s what they wanted to do because they like helping animals and the closest not kill shelter was in Woodward.” Mrs. Dowell, eighth-grade sponsor, said.
The shelter needs the following items:
- Clorox spray cleaner
- Pine-sol lemon
- Dryer sheets
- Laundry detergent
- Cat litter pellets
“Animals are important. They need a home and they need to be cared for too,” Blair Dowell, eighth-grader, said.
Monetary donations are also welcomed, and all checks can be made out to Canton 8th grade or W.O.O.F Pet Rescue. Donations need to be dropped off by November 22.
