On November 16, the high school academic team traveled to Vici to play for regionals. Canton academicized all four teams and were awarded regional champs. 

“It felt pretty good to win regional champs,” Jared Cox, academic team captain, said. 

Canton beat most of the teams by 100 points. 

The academic team will go on to compete in the area tournament for their chance to qualify for state. 

“I don’t know how we will do at area because the teams are going to be a lot harder, but hopefully we will do good,” Jared Cox, academic team captain, said.
