The Lady Tigers traveled too Okeene to play the Lady Whippets on December 3rd.
At the beginning of the first quarter, the Lady Whippets won the jump. Arianna Green was the first to foul. Hopelin Hood drove to the basket and scored the first two points of the game. Laney Russell got a put back from Green’s layup. Robison drove to the basket and got fouled, scoring one out of two free throws. Dowell then made a three in the Tiger’s next possession. During a fast break, Robison passed the ball down court to Green, who made a layup. The Lady Whippets hit a three at the end of the first quarter.

The Lady Tigers got the ball into the second quarter, and Dowell scored a layup right off the bat. Hood then scored a three. Dowell then passed it to Russell who scored a block shot. Okeene then scored another three. Breaking their press, Russell made another block shot. Hood drove the ball in and got fouled, scoring only one out of two free throws. In another fast break, Robison passed the ball down court to Green, who hit another layup. The score at the end of halftime was Okeene 30 and Canton 26.

Robison scored the first points of the third quarter by hitting a layup. The Lady Whippets then scored a block shot. Robison got her second foul of the night when a Lady Whippet drove to the basket. In the Tigers’ next possession, Green drove to the basket and made a jump shot. Dowell then made another layup for the Lady Tigers. As a Lady Whippet drove into the basket Green fouled her, making it her 4th of the night. Dowell stole a pass and dribbled down the court, getting fouled on her layup, making only one of her two free throws.

At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Lady Tigers got the ball. Hood was fouled as she drove into the basket, she made both of her free throws. Whippets shot a three that was no good and Russell got the rebound. Robison then drove to the basket and got fouled and missed both of her free throws. Robison then threw the ball into to Dowell, who kicked it to Green, and she went to the basket scoring two more points for the Lady Tigers. Whippets then made a three on their next possession. Hood went to the basket, kicked it to Green and scored a layup for the Lady Tigers.

A Lady Whippet drove into the basket and Green got her 5th foul of the night. Hood got fouled dribbling down the court and made one out of two free throws. In the Lady Tiger’s next possession, Hood scored a layup.
The score at the end of the game was Okeene 54 and Canton 47.
