The Lady Tigers played the Cimarron Lady Blazers in the second round of the Canton Tournament. The Lady Tigers won the tip. In a fast break, Arianna Green passed the ball to Hopelin Hood who scored a layup. In the Lady Tigers’ next possession, Taylor Dowell scored a three.
The Lady Blazers got the ball going into the second quarter and made a three. Green then drove to the basket and made a jump shot. Paige Robison made a three for the Lady Tigers. Dowell got the ball and scored another three. Hood dribbled the ball down court and shot a half court shot making the score at the end of the first half Lady Tigers 20 and Lady Blazers 18.
Lady Tigers got the ball going into the second half. Robison drove to the basket and made a layup. Robison passed the ball into Green who drove to the basket and scored two more points for the Lady Tigers.
The Lady Tigers got the ball going into the fourth quarter. Dowell drove to the basket and scored a layup. Robison was fouled and made both of her free throws. Robison then scored a layup off a rebound. Hood was fouled on her shot and made only one free throw.
The score at the end of the game was the Lady Tigers 33 and the Lady Blazers 35.
