On Tuesday, March 10, Canton junior high and high school art students went to Oklahoma City, to go to the Western Heritage Museum.

The Western Heritage Museum had two special exhibits while Canton students were there: Warhol and the West, and Dorothea Lange: Politics is Seeing.

The Dorothea Lange exhibit was photography from the Great Depression and World War I Japanese internment.

Warhol and the West were colorful screenprints using photographs as source material to native culture of the time period.

The students were split up into three groups and they all went on their own small group tour with their assigned tour guide. When the tour was over, students had a little over 45 minutes to go on their own and look at any exhibit they wanted to before eating lunch in Yukon.
