Canton Dashes Geary’s Hopes For A Win Early
On Friday, September 4, the Tigers traveled to Geary to play their second game of the season.
Geary kicked the ball off to the Tigers to start the game. The Tigers took advantage of having the ball first and drove the ball all the way down the fault to make a touchdown. Soon after the Tigers scored, Geary was able to put the ball in the endzone for a touchdown. The Tigers made other touchdowns before the end of the quarter.
During the second quarter, Geary’s offense could not do anything to move the ball on the Tiger’s defense. However, the Tigers were able to score more touchdowns.
The Tigers started off the third quarter by kicking the ball off to Geary. Geary’s offense was shut down before they could score. Geary was not able to score in the third quarter.
During the fourth quarter the Tigers were able to score a few more touchdowns. Geary only managed to score one more time in this quarter.
The score at the end of the game was Canton 56 and Geary 16.
