Tigers Face First Loss

On Friday, September 25, the Tigers traveled to Ringwood to play their fourth game of the season. 

Ringwood kicked the ball off to start the game. The Tigers drove the ball down the field but were unable to score. The Tigers were unable to stop Ringwood’s drive, and they drove the ball into the endzone. The Tigers retaliated with a touchdown of their own.

The Tigers were able to hold Ringwood from scoring until late into the second quarter. After Ringwood’s touchdown, the Tigers drove the ball down the field until they eventually put the ball in the endzone. Ringwood was able to score again with six seconds left, which did not give the Tigers enough time to score again. 

After stopping Ringwood’s offense, the Tigers were able to punch the ball into the endzone. Ringwood was not able to score again until the end of the quarter. 

Ringwood started off the fourth quarter by stopping the Tiger’s offense and scoring a touchdown. Ringwood was able to score another touchdown soon after. Despite being down by three touchdowns, the Tigers still managed to fight and score a final touchdown. 

The score at the end of the game was Canton 28 and Ringwood 44.
