1. Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus is a classic Halloween movie that everyone should watch if you haven’t already. Three kids explore an abandoned house after hearing several stories about this creepy house. They release a coven of witches on Halloween night and have to figure out how to steal the witches’ book before they cast a spell to become immortal.

2. IT

It is a scary movie about a clown who comes back every 27 years to feed on the town’s children and their fear. A group of so-called “losers” has to work together facing their own fears to take down this bloodthirsty clown known as “Pennywise”.

3. Ghostbusters

Known as another Halloween classic you must watch, three men lose their jobs and decide to become a group called the “Ghostbusters”. Stumbling upon a gateway to another dimension and a doorway that will release evil upon their city, they must save New York from complete destruction by the ghosts.

4. Beetlejuice

A couple gets in a car accident and come back home to their house being sold. Confused, they realize quickly that they are dead. They try to make a deal with Beetlejuice so they can get their house back and come back from the dead, but is Beetlejuice really the best person to go to?

5. Scream

This movie starts a series of many others such as Scream, Scream 2, Scream 3, Scream 4, and a brand new Scream 5 coming out in 2022. This movie is a mix of funny, scary, and very clever. A year after Sidney’s mother was killed, she is terrorized by a new killer. She experiences strange phone calls, and other girls also receive these phone calls but aren’t as lucky as Sidney Prescott.

6. Goosebumps

Young Zach Cooper is upset about moving to a new town. He meets his new neighbor who is his age and very pretty. Later on in the movie, Zach meets her father, R.L. Stine. They go on a very funny and dangerous adventure after accidentally releasing all the creatures Stine has written about. The creatures burn the books so they don’t even have to go back, but they quickly write another book so they can catch all of them before they take over.

7. Hubie Halloween

On Halloween in Salem, Massachusetts a devoted volunteer always comes out to help on Halloween night. He is good-natured, but people love to pull mean and funny pranks on him. He finds himself trying to find and capture a kidnapper.

8. Halloween

On Halloween night in 1963, six-year-old Micheal Myers killed his 17-year-old sister and was sent away. Fifteen years later he escapes and tries to kill everyone he can before getting caught again.

9. The Conjuring 

The Perrons and their 5 daughters move to a secluded farmhouse where a supernatural presence has made itself known. The events soon escalate in a horrifying fashion, especially after The Warrens discover the house’s macabre history.

10. Hotel Transylvania

When monsters want to get away from it all, they go to Count Dracula’s hotel. On one special weekend, Dracula invites creatures like the Invisible Man, The Mummy, and others to celebrate his daughter Mavis’ 118th birthday. When a human finds himself at the hotel, he falls in love with Mavis fast but doesn’t realize she’s a real monster, and Mavis doesn’t realize he’s a real human.
