Junior High Basketball Teams Travel To Geary
Canton junior high basketball would have started their season on November 10 against Taloga, but Taloga schools had to go virtual due to a Covid-19 outbreak.
Instead on November 17, the junior high teams traveled to Geary for their second game of the season after a tournament game at Lomega.
During the first quarter of the girls’ game, the girls scored a total of 12 points. In the second quarter, the girls scored 13 points. In the third quarter, they scored 4 points. During the last quarter of the game, they scored 9 points. The junior high Lady Tigers won the game and the score was Canton 38 and Geary 5.
In the first quarter of the junior high boys game they scored 7 points, in the second quarter, they scored 4 points and in the third quarter, they scored 3 points. During the last quarter of the game, the boys scored 6 points. The boys were defeated and the score was Canton 20 and Geary 22.
Canton junior high teams will continue playing in the Lomega Tournament on Thursday, November 19.
